Welcome to Artists Meeting Place.
If you're an Artist or Lover of Art, I invite you to make contact and help build this site into a resource we'll all find valuable.
If you live and work in West Cork or Maui, I'm especially interested in finding out and list what's happening in your region. So please make contact you can use my form here....
Sure there are some areas of this web site, such as having a Professional Listing (see examples here....), that requires a yearly fee, but if you look around you will discover the vast majority of the site is free including being able to put up a free Standard Listing about you and your work, (you can see examples of this type of listing here....). It's mostly about building an online resource for artists and lovers of art. I'm an Artist myself and I've a working understanding of the joys and the challenges of working and living as an Artist. I'm also excited about developing this site into a place of great value to all of the Artist Community.
You're invited to have a free Artist Listing, but the purpose of this site goes beyond just having a listing. It's also about packing it full to the brim with valuable information we can all use to help us flourish as Artists and as people who love Art and Culture. Let me know what's going on in your area, the Events, Exhibitions, Gatherings, Workshops - anything of interest to you as an Artist. If it's relevant and interesting I'll put it up. You can check out the Frequently Asked Questions section to find the answers to any questions you may have.
It's in it's embryonic stage, information is being added as fast as I can manage it and also as more and more people discover this new web site. I've chosen to put it up with the full structure intact to give you a better idea of what's coming so not all pages are as yet populated.
